While we actively take measures to avoid such situations, we have to be prepared for the unlikely scenario if it ever happens. We will take the following course of action -
2. We will take all efforts to contact the Guest and/or their emergency contact (if provided) to arrange alternative care. If we are not able to reach the Pet Owner, within a reasonable amount of time, we will use our best judgment to find alternative care for the pet or host them at our resident premises with all care being taken, until the Guest is able to retrieve his/her pet.
3. If every effort to connect with the guest has failed and we are convinced that this is a case of abandoning a pet, we will take all actions necessary to file a formal complaint with the respective police and animal welfare authorities with the Guest's data points available with us.
4. Any costs and expenses incurred by the Host in connection with such transfers and any additional days that they have fostered, will be covered by WagStays
